yea, i have a sidekick with pink swarvoski crystals, its custom made. my friend has the do-it-youself crystals, they're cute too. she has a little martini glass. i love the crystals, you can make your phone in to anything you want!

Sidekick LX Gel Skins?

I found some gel skins for the Sidekick LX and I was wondering, do gel skins act as protection for the phone as well? Or is their sole purpose just to make the phone's appearance attractive?

They mainly prevent it from getting scratched up. They will provide a little extra protection from small drops and small liquid spills.





They do make the phone look pretty cool, though!

No, in my sleep in the middle of the night. I think it's ringing and it's not. Most disturbing.

Reply:i used to clean pools for a living, and i was getting calls or beeped on my nextel all the time. people would me at 10 at night or 5 in the am, because of problems or new service or a party tomorrow and it had to be done. My boss would beep me even beyond that, he yelled at me when my phone was off or died. i still have the same phone with the same ringtones, and if that thing rings at home or i get beeped, i still get so overwhelmed. it's only been 6months tho. hopefully i'll get over it.
Reply:I don't have a phone at my house. But when I'm at my parents house, every time I hear the phone ring, I just about jump out of my skin!!! Now I know why I don't own a telephone. They make me so nervous! I know there is no reason to be so jumpy around telephones, is it just me?

Does anyone have any cool ideas on how to decorate the outside of their cell phone. Not like a skin or a hard cover? And not anything that will permanently damage it.

My sister glued little gems and rhimestones to her phone once and it looked nice. But thats permanent kind of.

Reply:I'm not completely sure where you are headed here, but I do believe that vinyl contains petroleum. Much like auto tires and any other synthetic pliable material.





If you mean like the beaded sort of greasy residue, that would be it. I'm not sure, but without it, the plastic would dry and crack..... I don't think it will ruin your phone though.
Reply:It'll be fine. Any of the skins I've used were just difficult to put on and I ended up cutting them off but there was no residue.

I'm thinking of buying a skin for my phone and my laptop, but I want to make sure that it's a good product. And I want to know if they leave sticky residue after you take them off. On the website it says there easy to take off, but it doesn't say they don't leave stickiness. Any help would be appreciated...

Skinits are really good quality. And they don't leave any stickyness on your phone or laptop.
