Am i greedy?

im 13 and my razr broke. so my dad got me a new cell phone. but it needs a 15 dollar memory card. he wont get me it so i get mad at him. all i want 4 x-mas is a laptop and he said he wants to get me a laptop plus more and he wanted me 2 write out every single thing i could want and i wrote 10 simple things: phone cover, nail polish, laptop skins, a few shoes and a couple computer games. and obviously the laptop. he looks at it and says well ur greedy how in the he!! can i afford all this. well he told me 2 write it!!!

Am i greedy?
Maybe Dad wanted to see what you would do if he said write down ten things that you want. Just because he said 10, doesn't necessarily mean you'll get all of it. Greedy? Maybe not, but don't try to take advantage of a situation like that again. Stress that you only wanted the laptop, and that you listed those other items only because he asked, not because you expected him to get them for you.
Reply:Well I wouldn't say you were greedy. But you are kind of thinking of yourself and not of others. You could think of buying your dad and other family presents. You might get MOST of your stuff. They might not be able to by you all this stuff.
Reply:maybe he wanted to see what else he could afford on your list in addition to the laptop. I wouldn't take it to heart what he said as far as you being greedy


he wants to get you more but he never said how much more.
