I make wallets , checkbooks,change purses ,wristbands ,cell phone cases and other such things from lizard skin and snake skin and even elephant skin , so no I do not the skin that is shed, I need the actual hide.
I need a good source for lizard and snake skin anyone know a good place?
Well some zoos hold reptiles shows.Maybe you can ask a zoo keeper.

Reply:Maybe even some leather shops can point you out to some suppliers. Also, native American trade stores or native American centers will sometimes know trappers who could give you some quality leather and skins. At the very least, they could point you out to some bands who might know. Around here you can find tons of people who supply deer hide and antlers. It just takes some asking around and knowing the right people ^.^ . I'm sure there's people out there who have a good supply of lizard/snake skins.
